Job Description
- Our client is looking for an Organic Chemist specialist with significant chemistry knowledge. They are in the midst of starting their manufacturing facility and need a strong chemist to help with the lab procedures and chemical manufacturing. This person will be mixing raw chemicals into large 20–30-liter glassware by following procedures that are given to the consultant, purifying/crystalizing the organic compounds, and making sure the order is filled, ready to package up and be shipped out. This is also a manufacturing role so the consultant will be responsible for shipping the chemicals, general lab chores, inventory stocking, implementing new chemicals into their electronic inventory system, and process development. There will be training on hazardous materials, manufacturing of chemicals, and safety/environmental concerns throughout the project. The ideal candidate will have experience with manufacturing in a chemical lab setting but from a chemistry focused background.
