TALENT AQUISITION TEAM
The Talent Acquisition team finds and recruits top talent for open roles at Black Diamond Networks. Our goal is to hire for our open corporate, account executive, and recruiting roles in our offices around the country.
Director of Talent Acquisition
Ryan Mahan graduated from the University of Massachusetts- Amherst in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Legal Studies. Most recently, he earned his master’s degree in Business & Analytics from UMass in 2021. Ryan began his professional career as the Director of Hockey Operations for the Men’s hockey team. His duties included: budgeting, scheduling, and overall management of the hockey program that won their first NCAA Division One National Championship in 2021. Now, back at Black Diamond for the third time, he currently works as the Director of Talent Acquisition, hiring for a variety of permanent positions in our Massachusetts, Florida, Arizona offices.
Ryan resides in Woburn, MA, where he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. When he is not working or enjoying company, he is most likely on a golf course or in a hockey rink, depending on the season.
Talent Acquisition Associate
Hannah Clerico graduated from Villanova University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. Her passion for learning about people and building relationships lead her to a career in Marketing Account Management where she worked closely with non-profits and employee benefit clients. After a few years, she was looking for a more challenging and exciting career change. This lead her to Talent Acquisition, where she could develop her interpersonal skills as well as have a hands-on role connecting with and hiring others for their best path to success. Hannah joined the Black Diamond Networks team in 2021 as a Talent Acquisition Associate. She works with the TA team to staff permanent positions in the Massachusetts, Florida, and Arizona offices.
Hannah currently lives in Boston, MA. She enjoys going to the beach, spending time with family, and going to brunch with friends. She is also an avid participant in local Relay for Life fundraisers for the American Cancer Society.
Zoe Driscoll -Sbar
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Zoe Driscoll-Sbar graduated from Merrimack College in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. She was on the varsity softball team for four years and took part in other athletic groups such as Student Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C), Team Impact and The Athletic Diversity Committee. Through these experiences she enhanced her desire to work with people and help them build their futures. Communication is a passion of Zoe’s which is why Talent Acquisition caught her eye; she started with Black Diamond Networks as a Talent Acquisition Associate in July of 2021. She works with the TA team to staff a variety of permanent positions in the Massachusetts, Florida, and Arizona offices. Zoe currently resides in North Andover, MA where she lives with her two teammates and their dog, Nico. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, hiking, traveling. When she is not in North Andover you can typically find her in her hometown of Northampton, MA or on the Cape with family and friends.
Talent Acquisition Specialist
Lexi Hill graduated from Granite State College in 2020 with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration. She began her career in retail as a Sales Lead Manager implementing business objectives for revenue and margin. After working in retail for three years she found herself interested in a medical equipment company where she worked as a receptionist. Not long after, she developed an interest in tracking payments and was promoted as to Accounts Receivable Specialist. In the beginning of 2021, she decided to make a career change and pursue her interest in recruiting where she can apply her desire to build relationships. In July she joined Black Diamond Networks (BDN) team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, hiring a variety of internal position in our offices located in Massachusetts, Florida, and Arizona.
Lexi just bought her first home in Manchester NH, where she spends most of her time decorating and designing her new home. In her free time, she loves sitting by a fire with family and friends. She also enjoys spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee boating, jet skiing, and floating on the lake all day.
BLACK DIAMOND NETWORKS UNIVERSITY
BDN University is our corporate one-stop resource for Sales & Recruiter Enablement, and Development. We promote Formal & Social Learning, Blended Learning, Collaboration, Best Practices Sharing, Thought Leadership, and Innovation.
New hires joining the BDN Team begin with a 3-level intensive onboarding Boot Camp where they will gain the necessary knowledge, develop the required skills, and learn the essential behaviors to succeed in our business. Each level is typically one month long, and new hires must achieve specific performance targets in order to advance to the next level.
Our Boot Camp begins with two weeks of intensive formal training. Then the remainder of the Boot Camp focuses 100% on on-the-job coaching with their supervisors. In addition, Boot Camp participant also attend a daily 15-minute stand-up meeting to evaluate progress, address challenges, and discuss specific topics related to observable individual progress trends.
Following Boot Camp, participants transition into the 3-month Advanced Professional Development Program. This program, led by top senior experts, seeks to reinforce, develop, and drive the adoption of best practices that position new hires on a track to a success career here at BDN.
Beyond Boot Camp and the Advanced Professional Development Program, BDN University also hosts Win/Loss Analysis sessions to understand what went right or what went wrong with key opportunities and share best practices that promote the development of a BDN top producer.
