Job Description
Our client is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain SME to handle a supplier resiliency assessment. This candidate will be tasked with conducting a GAP assessment of their current supply chain including material vendors, manufacturing locations, and inventory/warehouse locations. The main challenge for the client is to identify impacts and challenges the various supply chain points face and whether they need to add vendors for multi-source redundancy or identify substitutions for unique manufacturing or packaging needs. This candidate will be working cross functionally with multiple internal and external vendors including Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Packaging groups. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience related to Supply Chain activities including a thorough understanding of packaging/labeling functionality and relevant regulatory & quality compliance for US and EU markets. Packaging materials & examples include (but not limited to): cartons, trays, vials, package inserts, device packaging, syringes, etc..
