Job Description:
Our client is looking for an MS&T process engineer with 2-5 years of experience to aid in their commercial lab making the cell therapy. The ideal candidate will have a chemical engineering degree or biochemical engineering degree and have 2 plus years of experience in a lab-based role with experience in upstream and downstream processes. The daily tasks will be performing Adherence cell culture, bioreactor cell culture (a few hundred ML’s to 50 liters), on purification side, chromatography, depth filtration, and tangential flow filtration. This person will be expected to be in the lab roughly 30 hours a week, full gowning is not required daily, lab coat, gloves, googles, etc. This person will be running experiments, changing buffers, maybe doing DOE, presentations, GDP skills are required as technical writing and documentation is part of this position. There is also an element of deviation support assisting in finding root cause analysis by reviewing batch records for manufacturing.
