Description:
- The Automation Controls Engineer will be troubleshooting and programming Allen Bradley (Rockwell) PLCs. The candidate will have experience working with HMIs, SCADA, and setting up Inputs / Outputs or (I/Os). This is the main functioning of the job. They need to integrate a PLC Allen Bradley process using Wonderware for an acid based lysine oxidation EtO abatement media (system). There are catalytic type oxidizers and have different formats they need to transfer and configure the I/Os.
- Do Not have to be a sterilization engineer (They want Automation Controls engineer that is senior / advanced level or expert level w/ Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs and be a true Programmer)
- CIP (Clean In Place) or SIP (Steam in Place) or any experience/knowledge with sterilization EtO would be a PLUS + nice to have. They have an automated EtO system for their sterilization they are integrating and optimizing is why Sterilization is a part of the title.
- Client works with HISTORIAN (FactoryTalk Historian) – Rockwell
- Client uses PIMS (Project-Production-Process Information Management System: a client / server application that manages manufacturing and controls) not required but preferred or experience w/similar software
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years experience overall
- 4 years of GMP required*
- Advanced level experience with PLCs, working with process sensors, electrical hardware, wiring, electrical schematic
- Wonderware Intouch SCADA software required*
- Develop URS, SRS, SDD,
- Work with commissioning / Develop acceptance testing: FAT, SAT
- Develop design documentation
- Validated systems, Change Management, software validation
- Design & Implement software coding standards
- Strongly preferred having experience working in Class I Div II hazardous areas
- Technical innovation, leadership
- Background in at least one of the following is helpful: mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering, fluids engineering or cellular biology
- Strong cross functional communication between various disciplined groups
- Mentoring and responding to technical questions from staff and management
- Be able to explain complex scenarios and work with outside customers, have strong analytical ability
- Be a true Team Player and help other engineers progress, help teach when necessary
- Know the risks of things that can happen and be able to provide technical solutions and explanations to solve complex issues
- Implement FDA Regulatory requirements

Education:
- Bachelors Degree in related field (mechanical, electrical, biomedical) preferred, however, experience is the main thing
