Job Description:
- Client manufacturer of electro mechanical medical devices is looking for an experienced engineer who can help with design change activities as they work to effectively re-work product for production. Responsibilities include, review engineering drawings and design documents to identify potential issues or areas for improvement, collaborate with engineers to understand the impact of design changes on the device’s functionality, safety, and manufacturability, conduct thorough analysis to support design change decisions, with a particular focus on need for risk assessment, design inputs, and verification and validation activities. Must have experience with electromechanical medical device design change and remediation activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and electromechanical systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential problems
- Ability to apply Systems Engineering principles to the review of design change
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
