OUR STORY

As our name would imply, Black Diamond Networks is a company built on connections. In February of 1999, BDN started out as a Boston-area IT contract and direct-hire staffing company. The goal was to build the company by focusing on one client and one contractor at a time, providing both with the resources they needed to succeed.

During its first 5 years, the firm grew steadily through challenging economic times. In 2005, the company added an additional focus in the national market for contract Engineering resources. That soon became the largest segment of the company’s services and helped Black Diamond again forge ahead in the face of economic recession – this time, the housing market collapse 2008 2009.  On the heels of that recession, Black Diamond made another significant addition, the company’s Life Science and Technology group, in 2011. Today, providing regulatory affairs, clinical, quality, and validation professionals for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies is the fastest-growing segment of BDN’s business.

In 2014, during a senior management summit of about 20 employees, the organization realized that everyone in the room was personally connected to someone else attending. That network speaks to the culture at BDN. The core foundation of the company is that we all have personal roots that connect us to someone else in the firm. Today BDN has over 100 employees with offices in Andover, Phoenix, and Palm Beach. And what is true for our staff is also true for our extended family of contract professionals and loyal clients.  We strive to develop similar individual connections with our contractors and clients. We treat each customer and each contractor as if they are our only one and stay true to building one relationship at a time.
