Description:
The client is looking for a C&Q engineer who will work on commissioning activities for a new biopharmaceutical drug substance facility within an existing site. The engineer will be assigned to the downstream project team, be paired with an automation engineer and assigned chromatography columns to perform unit operating testing. The engineer would work on testing the system/equipment against the functional and design specifications, work on fixes & troubleshooting, balancing and shaking-down equipment and other execution related activities (this would account for about 80% of the work). The remaining 20% would be executing the qualification protocol and summary report. The engineer will need to have experience performing and being accountable for completing commissioning execution by themselves (not just as being part of a large team). Needs to have experience performing testing of automated manufacturing equipment (i.e. Delta V, PLC-controlled)
