Location: Remote with Supplier Site Visits initially near Leipzig, Germany then gradual transition to supplier site near Basel, Switzerland. Basel, Switzerland would only start from New Years Day of 2026 onwards.
Start Date: Prefer 8 September, but must start by 6 October
Duration: Until end of March, with possible extension

- Minimum of 20 hours a week, but up full time depending on how project goes.

Job Description:
Our client has a vendor that makes “Process Equipment for Pharma/Bio”. That Vendor is creating a “Clean Steam Generator” system for a new manufacturing facility. Our Client is seeking someone to act on their behalf and provide “onsite” observance and help to expedite the completion of this Clean Steam Generator and maintain the overall CapEx Construction Timeline.
- The candidate will act as a mediator between the Client and its vendor, mediate any issues that arise, and give regular progress reports and updates. (example, today the pump was mounted etc.)
- The main goal is to reduce risk of delays and keep the total capital project timeline.
- The candidate will need to evaluate the system from a Mechanical, Electrical, and quality perspective and help facilitate any changes needed.
- Candidate would use their Own computer/equipment with a VPN/SharePoint
- The candidate will schedule the weekly onsite visits
- 1-3 a week depending on progress of vendor
- Initially in Sept/Oct. mostly near Leipzig, end November Leipzig and Basel, and from Jan just Basel – as the “clean steam generators production moves from the vendors Sub supplier site to the supplier’s main facility in Basel.
- Complete and present/update regular “progress reports” to the Clients main PM for the utilities build.
Qualifications:
- Strong Mechanical, Electrical, Quality/compliance background
- Seeking 10+ years experience with Clean Utilities for Pharma/Bio Manufacturing and 5+ (ideally 8 or more) with Water systems (specifically Clean Steam).
- Extensive experience visiting vendor sites, and performing FAT’s etc.
