LIMS IT Application Administrator (x2)
Description
The client is currently in the process of implementing a new Labware 8 LIMS system which is being implemented across multiple global sites and built up as an out of box configuration with some customizations. The client is nearing completion of phase I of the project (design/development/configuration/implementation/validation, etc.) which includes the sample management and environmental monitoring modules and is preparing for the next phase (modules for stability and raw materials). The client needs two additional European based resources with expertise/experience with Labware 8 implementation projects in a bio-pharmaceutical/GMP environment. One resource would be more focused on administrative side and the other implementation. The candidate will need to have strong Labware LIMS IT/systems technical skills (Labware 8), previous experience with LIMS configuration, validation, implementation, and/or system admin, have GMP/pharma/bio experience and background/knowledge in QC/laboratories processes, instruments and how the setups operate. The main activities would include:
- •Configure and customize Labware LIMS.
- Integrate instruments with Labware LIMS.
- Participate in Gap fit.
- Design, configure, unit test and deploy labware products.
- Design and implement interfaces with external applications.
- Implement instrument integration with the labware products.
- Develop simple or complex software functionality but with limited scope.
- Participate in peer reviews of code for coding standards, best practices, functionality, error handling, etc.
- Write basic SQL queries using relational database concepts and schema design principles.
- Integrate laboratory instruments with scientific software packages.
- Evaluates product enhancements and capabilities, in addition to implementing upgrades as required.
- Collaborate with Cloud architect, Design lead and Security architect to design and implement LIMS system
- Plan, implement, and maintain the software development infrastructure.
- Implement and own the CI/CD.
- Manage CD tooling.
- Build and maintain highly available production systems.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting.
- Improve CI/CD tooling.
- Implement and improve monitoring and alerting.
- Collaborate with software developers, QA specialists, and other team members to ensure timely and successful delivery of new software releases.
