In our ongoing employee spotlight series, we are excited to highlight our Director of Training & Development, Mike Caprioglio. Mike has been with Black Diamond Networks since its founding in 1999, witnessing its growth firsthand.
He reflected on a core memory, the installation of BDN’s first database, until he realized it was empty. He states, “I’m very proud of where we are now and all the hard work it took to get to the BDN of today.” This growth has defined BDN.
At home in Sarasota, FL Mike and his wife, Tracy share a love for golden retrievers. For the past 25 years, they have welcomed five golden retrievers into their home, with their youngest currently being just two years old.
To new team members, Mike’s advice to you: “Be coachable and learn from everyone around you. Always ask questions, but also trust the process—it works.” The key to success is being adaptable and always willing to learn.
When it comes to mentorship, “As a Director, I look up to Nick Nazzaro and Andrea Caso, who have been instrumental in supporting my new role. They bring decades of staffing experience and have played significant roles in guiding my professional journey.”
