BLACK DIAMOND NETWORKS HOSTS PLYMOUTH STATE SIPS FOR A DAY

Connecting Students with Professional Sales Insights

On October 10th, Black Diamond Networks had the pleasure of hosting members of the Plymouth State Students in Professional Sales (SIPS) team. This visit provided an exciting opportunity to meet new students, reconnect with familiar faces, and share insights into professional sales, career development, and life at BDN.

ENGAGEMENT AND LEARNING

Throughout the day, the students participated in a series of interactive workshops and presentations. Highlights included:

  • A Q&A with our President and senior leadership team, providing insight into leadership perspectives and career growth.

  • A session on BDN’s training and development program, detailing the support available to interns and new employees.

  • Resume editing and interview preparation, helping students strengthen professional skills.

  • Tips for success in role-play competitions, offering practical guidance for SIPS competitions.

  • Insights into the journey from BDN intern to full-time employee, showing how a career can grow within the organization.

These sessions allowed students to ask questions, gain valuable knowledge, and understand how their studies translate into real-world sales experience.

FUN AND CONNECTION

The day concluded with an office-wide cornhole tournament, giving students and employees a chance to connect in a relaxed, informal setting. This fun activity reinforced teamwork, encouraged friendly competition, and ended the day on a high note.

BUILDING FUTURE PARTNERSHIPS

This event reflects Black Diamond Networks’ commitment to fostering relationships with emerging talent and educational programs. By connecting students with professionals, sharing knowledge, and providing hands-on experiences, BDN helps prepare the next generation of sales leaders while promoting a culture of growth and mentorship.

A huge thank you to the SIPS team and Ty Bacci for coordinating this event. We look forward to continued collaboration with Plymouth State University and future opportunities to engage with talented students.
