Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to support automation and controls projects for a high-speed fill line and formulation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation integration, robotics programming, and system controls across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation System Design & Integration:
- Develop, program, and optimize automation controls for manufacturing and formulation processes.
- Implement new formulation control systems and update existing large-volume formulation controls.
- Integrate and troubleshoot 12-head automation systems for production efficiency.
- Process & Equipment Controls:
- Oversee ozone system controls and ensure optimal operation.
- Work on high-speed fill line robotics programming to enhance automation efficiency.
- Perform upgrades and modifications to existing automation control systems.
- Testing & Troubleshooting:
- Conduct diagnostics and resolve automation and controls-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate automation performance.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate technical documentation related to automation processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in automation controls engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, robotics integration, and high-speed automation systems.
- Experience with formulation controls and process automation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for automation system issues.
- Prior experience with industrial automation, robotics, and control systems.
- Industry experience is flexible; candidates from different backgrounds are welcome.
