Description:
The client is looking for a procurement specialist to be the sourcing point person for all RFP and supplier negotiations. This candidate will be working with suppliers and the internal organization to lead and execute strategic equipment sourcing needs.
Skills:
- Industry experience of 5-8 years. Does not have to be Life Science specific
- Plan and execute negotiations and terms for equipment and supply agreements
- Manage the service and equipment supply to ensure timely project deadlines
- Drive awareness of active supply issues if it concerns the business —lead resolution
- Work closely with Lab Heads, QA, R&D to make sure all internal needs are met
- Candidates must be familiar with Lab Equipment, Bidding, Negotiation, Maintenance and Warranty contract terms.
