Job Description
Client is looking for a Metrology Engineer to work on their current products. Will be working with current SOPs, doing data and statistical analysis to get standard deviations. Their current product has 72 parts to it. Parts have to be measured for key product dimensions. Incoming inspection on floor and root cause analysis. Working with molds stamping, dyes extrusion and repair Gage R&R. Any programming experience with OGP or Zeiss CMM would be a plus but not required. Run the equipment and understand the results, reading the prints. If a current product measures x amount of parts per batch that comes in….ensure that it is repeatable and reproducible. Some gage design and fixture components.
Required Skills
- Must have a strong Metrology background, along with statistical analysis.
- No preference for any specific statistical software.
- Degree preferred but experience is more important.
