Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a high-impact project team focused on advancing packaging and assembly operations in a regulated facility. This role requires interfacing across departments, driving existing project work forward, and ensuring alignment with system ownership responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the system owner supporting mechanical packaging operations
- Interface with cross-functional teams: QA, automation controls, commissioning, and design
- Engage with vendors and ensure equipment readiness
- Oversee project timelines and push forward progress during the 2nd shift
- Assist junior engineers and ensure project alignment
Skills:
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration
- Experience reading mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, 3D modeling, and/or 3D printing (nice to have)
- FDA-regulated environment experience (required)
