Job Description
- The role involves performing calibrations and advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on all plant instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with safety and cGMP quality standards. Responsibilities include executing loop checks for new instrumentation, managing initial and routine calibration work orders, and conducting Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. The technician will mentor junior staff, maintain communication with manufacturing teams regarding repair and calibration status, and assist in planning equipment shutdowns for maintenance activities. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS), DeltaV commissioning, and the ability to read technical schematics is essential, along with strategic thinking to optimize systems. The position requires physical stamina for various tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in diverse environments, and necessitates on-call availability for maintenance issues across multiple shifts, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate possesses advanced I&C/Metrology knowledge, can operate with minimal supervision, and is capable of managing deviations and CAPAs related to instrumentation and control.
