Job Description
- Client needs a System Test Engineer to support the team with integration testing of our hardware, software, and medical instruments components. This team is limited in their med-device and FDA knowledge so someone with this experience would be extremely beneficial. Systems test engineer to help with testing and DV. Ideally someone with 6-8 years of experience in startup and med device environments.
Required Skill/Experience
- Ability to work onsite in office 5 days/week.
- Experience in megatronics or mechanical engineering a must.
- Basic competency in solid works and can do 3d printing to help with tools used to bridge gap between hardware and software.
- 6+ years of experience with development of test protocols and test documentation in a regulated industry – medical device/FDA.
- Extensive experience in authoring clear, effective design documentation, test protocols and test reports.
- Strong ability to read, understand and speak Python coding language, some coding will be required.
- Startup experience in fast-paced environment.
- Track record of working on teams in startup, scrappy, overcome problems, get to finish line as needed.
- Highly collaborative and organized.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and deal with ambiguity.
- Proven track record of delivering on projects/components/system that demonstrates an understanding of deliverables and ability to communicate out regarding timeline.
- Someone senior enough to have experience in a startup working on a team, but not too senior where they have been accustomed to set process/procedures and lack flexibility to adapt to new methods or ways of working given our fast-paced environment.
