Our client is currently seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support a build out of a new greenfield manufacturing facility and optimization of control systems. The position involves working closely with OEMs, the CSV team, and internal stakeholders to support the installation, validation, and troubleshooting of sterile purification and recycling isolators for pharmaceutical production. The role requires hands-on automation experience, particularly with Siemens S7 PLCs and SCADA systems, though no coding is involved—just technical oversight and collaboration. Candidates should have a strong background in automation support, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), especially in GMP-regulated environments. The role includes second shift coverage (evening to midnight) and may support weekend hours as part of a small, high-functioning technical team. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, validation execution, and familiarity with FDA regulations and standards like ISA 95/S88 is essential. Must have knowledge of sterile pharma manufacturing, 21 CFR Part 11 & GMP requirements and PLC/SCADA systems.
