Job Description:
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop high-reliability software for aerospace applications. Candidates ideally will have experience with flight code and mission-critical systems for NASA or similar programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop embedded software for ARM-based processors in aerospace systems using C on Linux.
- Implement and test software in environments requiring high reliability (e.g., FreeRTOS, Linux, VxWorks).
- Develop and execute verification and validation test plans, test suites, and unit tests.
- Document processes and software for flight readiness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in embedded software design with C and Python.
- Experience with FreeRTOS, Linux, VxWorks, or similar environments.
- Proven ability to develop flight code for NASA Class A software or similar.
- Hands-on experience with verification, validation, and documentation.
Preferred Experience:
- High-reliability environment experience.
- Familiarity with ARM-based processors and aerospace-specific testing protocols.
