On Thursday, July 26th team members from Black Diamond Networks Local Services Group served lunch at the Lazarus House in Lawrence from 11:30-1pm. BDN is proud to have supportive employees to help out such a great organization making such a positive impact in our community.
The goal at Lazarus House is to provide food to anyone who is hungry and comes to their door. Difficulty making ends meet is happening to an increasing number of people. The Good Shepherd Center is a soup kitchen that provides hot meals for more than 225 people a day. In the winter months when people can’t get out to the food pantry, the Soup Van travels throughout Lawrence distributing food to people living in the streets.
The Soup Kitchen is located in the Good Shepard Center at the corner of Hampshire Street and Park Street in Lawrence MA. From May- October they serve breakfast and lunch Monday- Friday and November – April they are open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week. The Kitchen serves a continental breakfast and a hot, nutritious noon-time meal to anyone who comes through their doors.
