Intern Recap: Fall 2025

Developing future talent through hands-on experience and real-world impact.

Our Fall 2025 Internship Program ran from September 8, 2025, through December 12, 2025, welcoming 50 interns across the organization. This semester continued our commitment to developing driven students while building a strong pipeline for future full-time talent.

Program Overview

The internship program brings together members of our Training and Development team, including Training Site Managers and Directors of Training and Development, who work closely with interns throughout the semester. Interns also gain hands-on exposure by collaborating with members of our production teams, including Account Executives and Recruiters across our Life Sciences & Technology, Engineering, and IT/ERP groups.

Purpose of the Program

The goal of the internship program focuses on recruiting and developing the next generation of our company. As the program continues to grow, future hiring plans prioritize bringing on full-time employees who previously participated as interns. This structure allows new graduates to transition seamlessly into full-time roles with a strong understanding of the job and the skills needed to succeed from day one.

Intern Roles & Responsibilities

Interns participate in one of two roles:

  • Recruiting Interns focus on calling consultants and generating leads for sales representatives while learning about the various skillsets within the industries we serve.

  • Account Executive Interns connect with hiring managers to discuss current business needs or introduce our business model for potential future partnerships.

The program mirrors full-time positions as closely as possible. Interns experience day-to-day responsibilities that reflect what they can expect in a full-time role, helping prepare them for a smooth transition after graduation.

Learning & Development

Interns receive comprehensive onboarding and training covering sales, recruiting, and the staffing industry from the ground up. Many interns begin the program with little to no professional experience, so training sessions emphasize core skills such as handling objections, communicating professionally, and understanding role-specific goals.

Hands-on learning opportunities remain a key part of the experience. Some interns joined tenured sales representatives on onsite client visits, meeting with clients at job sites or over lunch to discuss our business model and explore how we can support their needs.

Throughout the program, interns develop essential professional skills including communication, teamwork, time management, and confidence—skills that benefit them long term regardless of where their career path leads.

Impact & Results

This fall, the internship program contributed to strong business outcomes, including:

  • 21 listings

  • 11 starts

Interns played an important role in lead generation, creating more opportunities for Account Executives to identify new business. Account Executive Interns also identified new opportunities themselves, working closely with their Training Site Managers to complete the listing qualification process.

Looking Ahead

The success of the Fall 2025 Internship Program sets the stage for continued growth. Our Spring Internship Program will run from January 5, 2026, through May 8, 2026, welcoming 32 new interns.

Black Diamond Networks is proud of our Fall 2025 interns and excited to grow the next generation of talent.
