Ezekiel ‘Zeke’ Taylor joined Black Diamond’s Phoenix, Arizona team in August of 2022. He has since been promoted to Sales Development Lead in the engineering division where he and his teammates help leading aerospace and defense companies fill gaps in their Software, Hardware, and Mechanical teams.
Ezekiel attended Grand Canyon University, one of our educational partners, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies. In Zeke’s free time you can find him hiking north of The Valley or writing music with his twin brother.
Work-life balance is important to Zeke, and he enjoys the BDN mentality of “work hard, play hard.”
The Arizona team takes an annual lake day on Lake Pleasant. Zeke says, “It is always a good laugh watching my colleagues belly flop off the boat. BDN summer Fridays are a fantastic opportunity to relax and unwind before the weekends.”
Andrew Gonzalez, an experienced technical recruiter with BDN’s Phoenix office, is his role model. Zeke says, “Andrew pushes me to better myself in every area of life.”
Zeke’s advice for new hires:
“Discipline beats motivation 100% of the time. Embrace a routine that puts you ahead of internal and external competition regardless of your everyday circumstances.”
