As part of our continued commitment to giving back to our communities, last weekend, employees from our Andover office laced up their running shoes for the eighth annual Run for the Troops 5k road race. In addition to taking part in the event, BDN once again provided sponsorship to help ensure another great year of fundraising. The weekend kicked off on Friday night with a dinner and silent auction and culminated on Sunday morning with a 5k walk/run through beautiful downtown Andover. Black Diamond Networks would like to thank everyone who organized and participated in the race for their continued support of our nation’s heroes and we look forward to taking part next year!
The Run for the Troops 5k is a tax-exempt 501c(3) not-for-profit corporation located in Andover, Massachusetts that raises funds to benefit a variety of veteran services including Homes For Our Troops, Ironstone Farms, Brides Across America, and the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center. Additionally, the organization also uses its funds to plan events to raise awareness of the needs of our soldiers.
