Black Diamond Networks (“BDN”) announced it has acquired Ascension Global Solutions, LLC (“AGS”), a Massachusetts-based organization focused on lifecycle acquisition support solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Agencies.

The defense industry and federal agencies rely on AGS to support mission-critical projects, while staying on time and within budget. AGS will operate as a Black Diamond subsidiary under the leadership of its co-founders Susan Thibodeau and Bert Rogers, who have over 30 years of military, government, civilian and contractor support experience.

The two companies have been staffing partners since early 2020 and each provides unique capabilities to the other. With AGS’s Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) approved facility clearance, BDN recruiters can source candidates and utilize AGS to fill Secret and Top Secret defense-related positions. Likewise, AGS will continue to leverage Black Diamond’s robust recruiting ability to identify candidates for hard-to-fill vacancies on their current and future contracts.
This acquisition comes at a time of unprecedented growth for Black Diamond. Late in 2021, Tenex Capital Management announced its growth investment in the organization.
Under the leadership of Cerasoli, and with the backing of Tenex, Black Diamond is investing heavily in its staff and planning office expansions.
