Our defense client won a major program that required the addition of a high volume of contractors in an extremely rapid time frame. Through our close relationship, this client had a strong understanding of where Black Diamond fit in the market for highly experienced engineering contractors, and our ability to rapidly deploy this talent anywhere it is needed. Based on the success of our past placements, they requested our assistance to supply the contractors they needed.

 

The client’s BDN account manager worked closely with the clients’ Director of Engineering to ensure we had a clear understanding of the contract need and the budget parameters. After strategizing with the client and BDN’s engineering recruiting team we were able to successfully staff the project with fewer contract employees than the client originally thought was necessary. We were able to do this because our recruiters are in regular touch with contractors in the market place and were able to identify candidates that had the ability and the skillsets to singly perform two different jobs that were originally slotted for two different people. Not only did the client come in under their staffing budget for the project, they were also able to deliver the work to their customer over a month early. Our client quickly realized the value in working with Black Diamond Networks and our experienced staff.
