This spring marked another exciting and successful recruiting season for the Talent Acquisition team at Black Diamond Networks. Across more than 30 events throughout the semester, our team connected with students, faculty, and university partners through career fairs, networking events, classroom presentations, student-athlete information sessions, case competitions, and sales award ceremonies.
From strengthening long-standing relationships to expanding into new initiatives, this semester reflected BDN’s continued commitment to building meaningful campus partnerships and developing future sales and recruiting talent.
Expanding Our Campus Presence
This spring, the BDN team attended events across a wide range of universities, including:
- The University of Alabama
- Florida State University
- Plymouth State University
- Bryant University
- Bentley University
- Merrimack College
- University of Massachusetts Lowell
- University of Rhode Island
- Southern New Hampshire University
- Endicott College
- Providence College
These events gave our team the opportunity to engage with students from diverse academic backgrounds while sharing insight into BDN’s culture, career growth opportunities, and hands-on training environment.
Supporting Sales Competitions & Emerging Talent
One of the highlights of the semester was the opportunity to support and judge several collegiate sales competitions. Our team served as judges and sponsoring partners at competitions hosted by:
- Plymouth State University
- Bryant University
- Florida State University
- Bentley University
These competitions continue to be an incredible way for students to showcase their communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills in real-world scenarios. They also allow our team to build deeper relationships with students while identifying future interns and full-time talent.
Hosting BDN-Sponsored Events
This semester also brought exciting opportunities for BDN to host our own campus-focused events and create more interactive experiences for students.
One of the newest additions this spring was our first-ever pickleball tournament and networking night at Grand Canyon University in partnership with the Phoenix team. The event created a fun and relaxed environment for students to connect with our recruiters, learn more about BDN, and expand their professional networks.
Another standout moment of the semester was our annual case competition with the sales students at Plymouth State University, hosted at the BDN office in Andover, Massachusetts. This two-day event gave students the opportunity to compete in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working directly with members of our team. More than $1,500 in prizes were awarded throughout the competition, making it one of the most engaging events of the season.
