Job Description:
The client is looking for a few Automation SME’s to help support ongoing activities at multiple production facilities. The candidate needs to have a strong background in automation (PLCs, SCADA, etc.) but does not involve coding/programming or system setup/configuration, etc., but rather is focused on the oversight of vendors. The consultant would provide vendor and stakeholder management support, following up with the system vendors on deliverables, oversight and input on validation activities, assisting with integrating vendor-based systems into existing or new facilities, integrating systems related to API processes and/or aseptic production equipment and working to develop SCADA and PLC solutions.
Qualifications:
- General knowledge of automation and SCADA/PLC systems and their integration
- 3 plus years of designing and building automation systems in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred)
- Experience with some of the following systems: SCADA: iFix/WinCC/Aveva/Ignition, PLC’s: Siemens, Allen Bradley
