Job Description:
Client is in the midst of characterization studies for specific compounds in which they have two different grades for material. One is a research grade and the other is a USP GMP grade material. The Research grade material has the right characteristics and results that are able to match what they are looking for but the USP gmp one is not so need a proven experienced consultant to do some LC/MS characterizations of the two materials to compare them and see where the USP one is lacking. Looking for 5+ years of hands on characterization experience working with GC/MS, LC/MS and even ICP/MS. Specific Software experience preferred is MassHunter and Unify. Must have ability to interpret MS data to determine original chemical structure and break down component structures. Characterize and understand how the research material compares from a mass spec perspective. Also looking for significant extractable and leachable experience so they can determine what those components are as well. Looking for 10+ years relevant experience.
