Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Visual Inspection SME for a 2+ month contract. This individual will assist with implementation of a Visual Inspection Program for parenteral products. This individual must have 2 years’ of experience creating and implementing visual inspection programs for parenteral products. The first week of the project will consist of the consultant familiarizing themselves with internal processes as well as understanding where the company is currently at with their related efforts. Once familiarity is established, the following weeks will involve providing input/suggestions in order to begin creating procedures, sending drafted procedures for review, and qualifications & protocols that are produced will also be emailed for how to properly perform qualifications. This will be for a particulate visual inspection for parenteral products.
Project deliverables will involve implementation efforts for:
- Training procedures
- Qualification procedures
- Qualification protocols
- Support in development of defect sets
- Visual Inspection Program Policy
Required Experience:
- 2 years’ of experience creating and implementing visual inspection programs for parenteral products is required
- 2 years of experience with this specific scope of work in addition to 5+ years within pharmaceutical industry
- Working knowledge of USP 790 and PDA Technical report 79 will be helpful
- Education: Experience outweighs degree
