Our client is seeking an Operational Excellence (OpEx) Consultant at the Senior Manager or Director-level position to assist with an ongoing project. The project consists of two major components: 1) conducting an operational assessment and review of quality control deliverables to help gauge their testing, timelines, data, control charting, gap assessments and offer overall operational help of analytical processes and 2) Project Management efforts in regards to organization of timelines, project plans, deliverables, how project deliverables are being tracked and getting other internal/external members aligned.
Initial responsibilities will involve establishing familiarity/understanding within current project scope, labs client works with, obtaining data from labs, implementing a system to track lab data, streamlining data, presenting data for charting purposes, reaching out to stakeholders for feedback, conducting gap assessments and putting together slide decks for presentation purposes.
This resource will be supporting a team of ~10 individuals so excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration is crucial. Exceptional written & verbal communication is mandatory, along with keen organizational skills. Ability to be flexible and adaptable in working with pressing deadlines, shifts in priorities, working in different time zones as needed and reporting writing skills are of utmost importance to drive this project successfully and efficiently.
10+ years of working experience with the similar project job description within a Pharmaceutical or Biologics background
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma Principles/Processes
Project Management (PM)
Operational Excellence (OpEx) Project experience
Report writing skills, SOP’s, Value Stream Mapping
GxP knowledge (GMP)
Working familiarity with Excel, Smartsheets, Style Point, etc.
BS or MS in related Sciences or Engineering Degree preferred
