Job Description:

  • Our client is currently seeking a Manager, Data Management with 5+ years of direct CRO experience. Previous experience as a manager or at least providing mentorship to a team of people will be required for this project, as well as a solid understanding of start-up environments in respect to data management front & back-end processes. Day-to-day activities will consist of CRF build out deliverables, UAT scripts, conducting UAT, overseeing timelines, assisting with clients/escalations of client concerns, and other related tasks. Once the database is built, the resource will be facilitating with data transfer agreements, reconciliation, and work with biostatisticians to ensure the data coming in is clean.
  • Previous management or extensive mentorship experience will be critical as the resource will have at least three personnel reporting into them. This person will not have to execute the programming, however there is a requirement of significant understanding of the surrounding processes in order to be able to QC the work with as much detail as possible. Attention to detail is mandatory for this role.
  • Minimum 5+ years of direct CRO experience, attention-to-detail, data management processes (primarily front & back end) and understanding of timelines is required. Expertise within acute pain and/or CNS trials, MS Projects, Smartsheets, SAS, Excel (pivot tables, formulas, filters, etc.) will all be deemed as a bonus.
