A BDN client located in California needs a senior-level medical device quality engineer who can provide two months of consulting coverage. Our client is specifically looking for engineers who have a minimum of five years of relevant experience to partner with internal stakeholders to work on leaning out/re-evaluating their manufacturing processes and they're looking for someone who can take their system to the next level by making it more robust. On the job, the consultant will work alongside mechanical engineers to drive down defects and work on sustaining engineering. S/he will also be reviewing/revising protocols and reports as needed. Candidates for this position should have experience with plastics, fixtures, hot boxes, and catheters. Process validation, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma experience are a plus.
