Job Description: Our client is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager at the Associate Director/Director-level with experience in drug development strategy from a PM-standpoint. The position will work hand-in-hand with the current team lead for an asset that is still in discovery while the team works to develop the development strategy for small molecule (endocrinologic) products. This will be a global PM role running global product team meeting and supporting preparation for governance activities.
Functions will consist of (but not limited to): Assist in leading product strategy for pre-IND and early-stage product development assets with other functional leads
Manage monthly program updates including dashboard and updates to executive personnel
Track budgets changes and ensure changes are being tracked in in forecast models while managing inputs for annual budgets, reforecasts and long-term activities
Manage project timelines with real-time updates within the project/portfolio management systems to be accessible by other team members as needed
Communicate action items, track deliverables, and follow-ups on action items
Drive resolution, contingency planning and risk management efforts
Skills required: 10 years of experience with Drug Development activities (strategy efforts included) within pharma/bio clients (primarily small molecules)
Strong understanding Project Management principles (previous roles or functions as a Technical Project Manager will be required)
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
Demonstrated ability to work well with others while managing timelines diligently and encouraging further execution of deliverables in a timely manger
Familiarity with PM tools and general computer skills such as MS Office, MS Project, Reporting Tools, and other comparable or relatable tools
