A Black Diamond Networks client in Massachusetts is looking for a principal IT architect who can provide one year of consulting coverage. This position will have the consultant leading and managing software implementation projects related to commercial business and systems initiatives. Candidates for this position should have a strong understanding of business and how to apply technology effectively in support of commercial processes.

Detailed description:

  •  Assist with management and support of business/IT partners, and external providers regarding Salesforce.com / Veeva CRM and related commercial enhancements & projects in line with the overall company objectives and solution capabilities.
  • Coordinate project teams, IT and production support teams to ensure proper implementation of Salesforce.com / Veeva CRM and related commercial solutions.
  • Serve as a functional/technical lead for IT and business teams to help define, estimate, and propose solutions for commercial business opportunities leveraging salesforce.com / Veeva CRM and related technologies.
  • Administer the Veeva CRM system for sales, medical affairs, managed markets, and other business users.
  • Ensure adherence to FDA computer systems validation compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls. 
  • Develop solid working relationships across business and technical groups to allow for more effective project leadership and collaboration.
  • Elicit requirements using interviews and workshops, document analysis and business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis.
  • Create and distribute/maintain documentation as needed: Functional requirements, Business Requirements, Use Cases and End-to-End testing documents, Data Flow Diagrams.
  • Determine regression testing requirements for upgrades, enhancements, and projects. Co-ordinates regression testing with various internal and external resources and teams as required.
  • Ensure appropriate IT processes, procedures, and standards are in place.
