Job Description:
Our medical device client is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer for a 12-24 month contract. The Supplier Quality Engineer will be working on a manufacturing transfer project, primarily the transfer of multiple injection molding processes. The client is moving the molds from one supplier to multiple suppliers. This person will handle all the technical aspects of the transfer. This individual will help with process mapping and process validation (not necessarily drafting but reviewing and approving, ensuring they meet client standards, First article inspections, inspection plans etc.)
Required Experience:
- Education: Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial, anything engineering preferred but not a full requirement. Experience outweighs degree.
- This person must have excellent communication skills and soft skills.
- Skills: Supplier Quality, Medical Device, Process Validation, Injection Molding processes, inspection plans for injection molded components.
