Client is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer with a strong Medical Device background. Will be working with process verification, gage R&R, developing control plans and PFMEAs. Needs to be able to work independently and go find answers, not waiting for the answers to be handed to him/her. Will be assigned to a supplier and stay on top of the supplier including meetings and technical items. Experience with statistics (Minitab). Look at data from a supplier run and if discrepancies are found, address with supplier. First half of the project will be process focused but additional tasks may be design focused. There will not be any audit or qualification work required.
Looking for 5-10 years of experience as a Quality Engineer with a strong Supplier background. Extensive experience with process verification, Gage R&R, Control Plans and PFMEA. Experience with Minitab is required and orthopedic would be a plus. BS required, mechanical engineering preferred.
