Job Description
Vaccine manufacturing project plant is looking for a Construction Project Manager with a strong GMP and OSHA background. They are a CMO, taking materials and creating bulk fill, shipping to client for labeling and distribution. Will be working with the engineering design and construction companies as the client representative. This is a 70+ million site expansion involving two existing buildings. One involves converting an existing warehouse into production space and the other is an existing operating facility whose products are going out of service. Provide construction support, working with safety, local trades, etc. Working on setting up GMP production, including cleanroom protocols for construction. Will be doing overhead lifts in the facility and day to day hot work permits. Handle contractors and any safety issues. Experience reading architectural and process drawings along with process instrument documents.
Required Skills
Must have a strong construction project management background with GMP and Cleanroom experience. Biopharma preferred but Pharma is also fine. Must have OSHA certification and knowledge of safety protocols for construction. Experience putting together lift plans for equipment. Background reading drawings (don’t need to draft). 10 plus years experience involving projects in excess of 100 million. Experience more important than degree.
