Job Description:
Our client is seeking a QAD Consultant to lead the end-to-end implementation of QAD Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory modules, and Finance. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with business areas to define business needs and gather requirements that meet business goals and objectives to implement system solutions. This role requires the ability to translate business requirements into QAD based business solutions and ensure an ultimately working solution in QAD or third-party applications. The QAD Consultant will develop business processes blueprints, configure applications as per processes, and partner with vendors and third-party support teams to resolve system issues, develop enhancements and project tasks.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end implementation of QAD Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory modules, and Finance
Collaborate with business areas to define business needs and gather requirements
Translate business requirements into QAD based business solutions
Develop business processes blueprint
Configure applications as per processes
Partner with vendors and third-party support teams to resolve system issues, develop enhancements and project tasks
Gap Analysis and functional specification creation for customizations
Author and facilitate UAT/CRP workshops
Create training documentation and deliver user trainings
Participate in data migration strategy and cutover
Provide support to the business post go-live
Skills:
Minimum 10 years of experience working on QAD
Experience on ERP implementation projects – Mandatory
Knowledge of WMS module
Knowledge of MES – Nice to Have
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with business areas
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
