We at BDN think it’s time for you to get to know our Talent Acquisition Manager Joe! Joe and his team work hand in hand bringing in the best talent to our BDN corporate offices. Recently he sat down with our marketing team for a short informal “interview”. See what he had to say below!
Give a brief history of your employment:
Joe: I began my career as a Technical Recruiter in 1997, shortly after graduating from Merrimack College. I worked my way up to Leadership roles in several agencies, and then transitioned to a corporate Talent Acquisition role in 2012. The Talent Acquisition Manager role here at Black Diamond is a great blend of the work I like to do (in-house Talent Acquisition) in my favorite setting (a fast paced staffing agency).
What do you like most about recruiting?
Joe: I love the thrill and challenge of identifying the right person for the right opportunity. It is a great feeling to know that I am helping people grow their careers, while also helping companies to achieve their hiring objectives.
Give us a fun fact about yourself!
Joe: I love all Boston sports but the Patriots are my passion! I have been a season ticket holder since 2008 and attend several games each year. I also enjoy traveling with my wife and kids.
How can you help prospective BDN employees with their careers?
Joe: I have worked or managed people in multiple areas of the staffing industry, so I can offer a unique perspective to potential candidates interested in joining Black Diamond Networks. The grind isn’t for everyone, but for people with the right mindset it can be a rewarding and lucrative career. I look forward to sharing this insight with candidates from all backgrounds.
