Meet our Contractor Service Program Manager, Karen DiCenzo! Karen has a background in human resources, training, customer service, and sales. She has worked in a variety of industries including staffing, entertainment and hotels. She also owned a successful direct sales business leading thousands of consultants throughout the United States for 10 years. She has won numerous awards and has been a featured speaker at many events in the direct sales industry. Karen holds a BA in Liberal Studies from the University of Central Florida and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Bentley University.
Why did you join BDN?
I knew that BDN was a company with a track record of success that was rapidly growing. The position in contractor services was also a natural fit for me having a background in human resources, staffing, sales, and customer service.
What has your experience been like so far?
I really enjoy being a part of the BDN team. We are still small enough that your contributions are recognized. I also like that there are employees at all stages of their careers here so you can continually learn from everyone you work with.
What are your challenges and successes?
I wish we had the opportunity to meet all our contractors face-to-face, but that isn’t possible as our clients are located all over the country. It has been rewarding watching our contractor services department expand and support our Recruiters, Account Executives, and Contractors as the company grows.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself?
I worked for Walt Disney World when I lived in Orlando, FL and was a part of the opening team the day Epcot Center opened! It was an exciting time and provided a great foundation for my career.
