At Black Diamond Networks, we work with companies big and small throughout the United States. If you're plugged into the labor market, it should come as no surprise that your technical skills are in high demand. Despite this, we still get plenty of new consultants who ask us the classic question, “what states do you have open positions in?” While that answer may differ based on what industry a candidate looks in, here’s where we’re seeing the highest demand for top technical talent.

Massachusetts

This one should come as no surprise. Black Diamond Networks was started as a New England-based IT staffing firm and since then we’ve sunk our roots deep into the local market. While our initial focus was IT, we’ve grown with the technical market and now serve clients in the life sciences and hardware/software engineering fields.

No matter what field you work in, we likely have an open position for you in Massachusetts. Currently, we’re looking for labeling specialists, senior technical writers, firmware engineers, validation engineers, quality specialists, QMS consultants, and more. Looking for a position in Boston? We’ve got those. Is Western Massachusetts more your speed? We work with companies across the greater New England area and only present you with positions that meet your travel requirements.

California

When technical professionals think of California, they typically think of the grandiose offices of companies like Facebook and Apple in Silicon Valley. While California is undoubtedly the spiritual home of the high-tech industry, it has also undergone something of a transformation as many companies in the life sciences and technology industry have set up shop in the Golden State.

Whether you’re currently living in California, or you’d just like a change of scenery, Black Diamond Networks has open positions in life sciences, software/hardware engineering, and information technology. From El Segundo to the Bay Area, we lots of opportunities across our services offerings.

Florida

Ah, Florida, the land of sun, sand, and… great contract positions for the consultant who is looking for a “work-cation.” Surprisingly enough, Florida has time and time again proved to be fertile ground for technical professionals in the life sciences industry. While we do have a few open positions in the cities people consider destinations, we also have positions all over Florida that are perfect for consultants who love the outdoors and want to get a little more “off the beaten path.”

Our current open positions span the full spectrum of life science opportunities. Our clients in Florida are currently looking for GCP compliance specialists, program managers, process engineers, CMC professionals, RA specialists, and more.

Remote Positions

At Black Diamond Networks, we’re the experts in technical staffing. As such, we know that traveling and being away from local friends and family isn’t for everyone. While we can generally accommodate pets on contract assignments, we know there are lots of reasons why a potential consultant wouldn’t want to travel for contract work. If this sounds like you worry not. Black Diamond Networks also offers remote contract opportunities that allow you to work from home – or anywhere for that matter.

We know remote work isn’t for everyone, but for the right consultant, remote work can mean you get the best of both worlds. Remote opportunities give you all the flexibility and earning power you expect when working contract positions with none of the travel involved. We currently have open remote opportunities for program managers, PMA consultants, and software engineers.
