At Black Diamond Networks, we’re a company built on relationships. Since our founding in 1999, we’ve remained committed to making sure that top-notch consultants are placed with companies who are leaders in the IT, engineering, and life sciences industries. Our slogan is that we’re the experts in technical staffing building one relationship at the time. We know that’s true, but what does it mean in practice for the clients and contractors who work with BDN?

Part of our commitment to our business partners comes in the form of our Client and Contractor Services department which is responsible for ensuring that our clients and contractors have access to the timely support and assistance they’ll need should anything out of the ordinary occur during an assignment.

Contractor Support

Once a Black Diamond contractor has started their assignment, our Client and Contractor Services department goes to work. Before the start of your assignment, our team works behind the scenes with the client that you’ll be working with to ensure that any needed credentials, introductions, tools, badges, etc. are ready for you before you ever set foot in the office.

The goal of this program is to provide an enhanced level of service support for our contractors to ensure your work experience with us meets your expectations. Our Client and Contractor Services department is here to help contractors with:

  • Hotel discounts.
  • Help submitting timecards/expenses.
  • Pay and expense discrepancy resolution.
  • Benefits support.
  • Business cards.
  • Periodic in-person visits.

As a contractor with BDN, you’ll also be invited to offer your feedback on your assignment through short surveys sent during the first week, at the halfway point, and after the culmination of your assignment. Survey answers remain confidential and are used to improve the service offerings we have.

Additionally, our Client and Contractor Services team periodically holds local contractor appreciation events where BDN contractors are invited to come and meet members of our team and to show our thanks for those who work with Black Diamond Networks. In the photo below, Division Director Brecken Morgan and our Client and Contractor Services Program Manager, Karen DiCenzo hosted a wonderful dinner for our contractors in Utah. Our contractors were treated to a delightful meal at Primo’s Restaurant and received gift bags and some of the latest BDN swag.

The Results Are In

There’s good news for both new contractors and those who work with us currently; the efforts of our Client and Contractor Services department haven’t gone unnoticed. Our contractor survey results show that over 88 percent of our contractors felt that their assignment met or exceeded their expectations and 9 out of 10 of contractors would recommend Black Diamond Networks to a friend or colleague who was interested in consulting opportunities.
